Image Guidelines

Vellum supports the following image types:

Standard inline images (illustrations, graphics, photographs)
Decorative chapter heading images using Vellum-supported header options
Images may be placed behind or integrated with chapter titles where supported
Opacity and placement may be adjusted for readability and visual balance

Images must be high quality, properly sized, final, and ready for insertion. No custom illustration, editing, resizing, background removal, or complex layout design is included.

Image Rights Agreement

I confirm that I own the rights or have full legal permission to use any images, graphics, or visual materials included in my manuscript. I understand that the formatter is not responsible for copyright, licensing, or usage issues related to materials I provide.

Image Requirements

Images must be high-quality JPG files only, with a minimum resolution of 1600 × 2560 pixels (300 dpi for print). Lower-resolution images may appear soft or blurry in the final book export.
