Formatting Packages

All packages include the same core formatting services.
Pricing is based on manuscript length only.

⭐ Tier 1— $75

For shorter fiction manuscripts.

Includes:

• Up to 40,000 words
• Ebook + Print formatting (EPUB + print-ready PDF)
• Standard Vellum theme (built-in styles only)
• Vellum’s built-in scene dividers
• Front matter
  (Title page, Copyright page, optional Dedication, optional Epigraph, and auto-generated Table of Contents for eBook and print)
• Back matter
  (Acknowledgments, About the Author, Also By page, optional Author’s Note, Review/Newsletter call to action, and optional Sneak Peek or bonus content)
• Table of Contents for eBook and print
  (linked in eBook; standard page-based TOC in print)
• Correct trim size setup for print
• One included formatting revision

Important Notes About Links, Accuracy, and Revisions

• All links, URLs, and ISBNs must be provided by the author and triple-checked for accuracy before submission.
• Formatting is based entirely on the manuscript and materials provided. I format content in good faith and do not verify external links, ISBN assignments, or legal permissions.
• If incorrect links, missing information, or text errors are discovered after files are delivered, corrections are handled as a revision.

Revision Policy

Each package includes the number of formatting revisions listed.

Any changes requested after files are delivered—including newly discovered typos, updated links, added or removed content, or other text changes—are billed at $25 per revision round.

Formatting is based on the manuscript provided. To avoid additional revision charges, manuscripts and all front and back matter must be finalized before formatting begins.

⭐⭐ Tier 2 — $150

For mid-length manuscripts.

Includes:

• Up to 80,000 words
• Everything included in Tier 1

⭐⭐⭐ Tier 3 — $250

For longer manuscripts.

Includes:

• Up to 120,000 words
• Everything included in Tier 1

Important:
All packages include the same core formatting services.
The price difference reflects time spent formatting longer manuscripts, not different levels of care or quality.

Optional Add-Ons

Available with any package.
(All styling uses Vellum’s built-in themes and ornament sets.)

• Additional revision round: +$25
• Series interior consistency check: +$25
  Available only when previous books were formatted in Vellum and a reference file or screenshots are provided before formatting starts.

• Decorative Chapter Heading Images 

  Add a subtle visual accent to chapter openings using decorative images integrated with the chapter heading.

  • $25 per image (not per chapter or page)

  • Images must be supplied by the author

  • Images must be properly licensed for commercial use

  • Images are applied as chapter heading decorations using Vellum’s supported ornament placement

  • Placement is integrated with or behind the chapter title, depending on the selected Vellum theme

  • Images are positioned for best visual balance and readability and may be adjusted for transparency to ensure the chapter title remains clear and easy to read

  • No image creation, editing, resizing, or custom illustration work is included

  • I do not source or provide images

  
  

  This add-on is intended for authors who want a simple decorative touch within a clean, professional interior—not fully custom or graphic-heavy chapter designs. Authors are responsible for confirming usage rights and assume full responsibility for any image-related copyright or licensing issues.

Before You Send Your Manuscript

To ensure a smooth start, please prepare:

• Final, edited manuscript (.docx only)
• Clearly marked chapter breaks
• Desired trim size (5×8, 5.5×8.5, 6×9, etc.)
• All front and back matter you want included
• Ebook cover image (JPG)
• Any style notes or preferences

Formatting is based on the file you provide.
Text changes after formatting begins are handled as revisions.
